Skyview Counseling Office


Greetings! Mr. Andrew Haines and Miss Olivia Olivito are the certified Professional  School Counselors here at Skyview Elementary School. Mr. Haines is here full time and Miss Olivito is split between Skyview and Westwood Middle School. They work with students individually, in small groups, and teach whole classroom lessons. 

 

School Counseling Vision Statement: 
The vision of the Skyview Elementary School Counseling Program is to develop life-long learners with a sense of intellectual, vocational and personal/social responsibility. Having achieved college and/or career success as adults, they will have the mindset to continually assess their individual abilities and limitations, while being responsible citizens who respect the diversity of others-both on a local and global scale.



School Counseling Mission Statement:
The Skyview Elementary School Counseling Program strives to provide a comprehensive and developmental school counseling program that fosters life-long learning within the academic, vocational and personal/social domains for all students and their families that focus on the whole child as well as the needs of a diverse community. Standards-based instruction and interventions are based on needs identified through multiple data points. The comprehensive program works to advocate for equitable access to vital resources for all by cultivating an environment of mutual respect that is nurturing, orderly, safe, drug-free, and violence/bully-free.
