Watch D.O.G.S. of Skyview Elementary
WatchD.O.G.s in a national program, aimed at getting more male role models involved in education. "Dads" and volunteers perform a variety of tasks during their volunteer day including monitoring the school entrance, assisting with unloading and loading of buses and cars, monitoring the lunch room, or helping in the classroom with a teacher’s guidance by working with small groups of students on classwork, flashcards, or reading.
*All WatchD.O.G. volunteers must complete the Monongalia County Schools Volunteer Training*
Follow these instructions to complete the volunteer training:
-Go to https://goo.gl/8ozUkF - here is the presentation with what you need to know about volunteering in Monongalia County Schools. (The questions will come from this presentations)
-On the last slide – is a link to the quiz. You must get 8 or more correct on the quiz and complete all parts of that quiz. (If that doesn’t take you to the quiz – here is the link: https://goo.gl/1xKtTu )
-After you take the quiz hit the Submit button
-You will receive a message on the screen that gives your score and if you have passed the training.
If you passed it will say: “You also will still need to have your Driver's License scanned and pass that scan. This is done at the school. Please allow at least a week for your name to be added to the volunteer list.”
You must get 8 or more correct to be considered. If you do not get 8 or more correct, you should review the powerpoint again and you may try again (in the same day). If you do not get it in two tries, you should review the powerpoint and take it again the next day. Only the first two timestamped quizzes will count per day.
